Good afternoon landlord,

It really depends on tenants' requirements. You can leave it empty first and if they require it fully furnished then you buy furnitures.

Cause if you furnished it fully but tenants end up want it unfurnished then you will have a hard time.

Good evening to you,

I understand that you are looking to rent out your whole flat.

Whether a flat is better furnished or unfurnished depends on the requirements of the tenants. However, in most cases, renting out a flat in move in condition is favoured. Many a time, looking for the right tenant can be a challenge. Do take note that prior to renting out your whole flat, approval must also be sought from HDB for the tenancy agreement to be valid.

It depends on the tenants. Some tenants prefer f/for and some other prefer p/f. My suggestion is don't buy anything now, depends on the tenants requirements later you can buy.

Dear prospective landlord,

Different perspectives here:

Should you provide full furnishings, tenants will come back to you on any faulty furniture and you may need to cough up additional funds to replace or repair these furniture.

Full furnishings provided tend to get slightly higher rental than a non furnished unit.

If you are a new landlord, I would strongly suggest to keep it as it is for now and see what the tenant has to request.
