Hi, yes. For private residential properties in Singapore, a 6-month tenancy is allowed, as the minimum rental period is 3 consecutive months.
You can also negotiate an option to extend the tenancy after the initial 6 months. This should preferably be agreed upfront and stated clearly in the Tenancy Agreement, including the extension period and how the rental for the renewal period will be determined.
Do note that while 6-month leases are permitted, whether a landlord is willing to accept one will depend on the individual property and landlord.
