I sell my HDB flat and request extend one month stay, agent didn't indicate when submit to HDB, also did not prepare private agreement for seller and buyer to sign, now buyer break the promise, don't allow my sister stay with me, they just allow "owner" to stay, not include other people. And the 2 agent just said we can't do anything, because they didn't prepare private agreement for us, do they have a legal responsibility to solve the problem. Can I go CEA complain them

Hi,

Firstly, to be eligible for extension of stay, you will have to meet all the eligibility conditions. One of the conditions state that you will have to exercised the OTP for another flat you're going to purchase.

The Buyers will not be able to rent out the flat as they will have to meet a 5-year MOP after they purchase it.

If you had indeed purchased another flat, then you may wish to question your agent why did he not submit the extension request for you. You may take this complaint to CEA with supporting documents.
