Hi, you would have to bear the risk should you make false declarations to HDB.
You may contact me for a discussion, I have a client in a similar situation before. Thanks

Hi Sir,

Should you purchase a HDB flat, you are obliged to declare your property holdings, both local and overseas. A failure to do so would be considered as a cheating case. I would advise you not to take this risk.

May I know if your property in Malaysia is for your own stay or for investment purpose? If it's for your own stay (or family's home), you might wish to appeal to HDB for you to keep hold of the property. Approval will be on a case-by-case basis.

I am experienced and well-versed in both private and HDB resale transactions. I will be able to assist you in your housing plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi
Under the law, it is an offence if you made a false declaration, You may sell off your private property in Malaysia first and then buy another overseas property after your HDB has met its MOP. Alternatively you may try to appeal to HDB to keep your private property which might be granted on case by case basis. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory discussions on this.
