I paid security Deposit & monthly rental plus agency fees along with stamp duty for renting an apartment from 1st Feb in Queenstown. Which got rejected by HDB and Agent has not returned me full amount.
He is not picking up my calls and his company is also not helping me. What are ways to get back money? I have all proofs since I transferred online.

    Hi All...
    I already called CEA and told them. They said for moneytary compensation I need to contact small courts.
    They can only take it as code of conduct violation....

    Now I am only worried about my money. CEA is useles...

Hi Rahul, yes you could lodge a complaint with CEA and they will assist you further.

    CEA told me to ask state courts for monetary compensation. The agent who cheated me was in police custody for cheating case and now out on bail.
    I dont want to talk to him anymore I feel it would be criminal offence and his company is asking me to go to Police.
    I really dont have time to go to police and state courts..Is there a way possible to force his company to compensate me ?

You can provide the necessary document evidence to CEA and CASE. They should be abLe to assist you accordingly.

    The agent is from your company only..
    Why cant you company take responsibility and return me back my money ??
