Afternoon Mary,

Being a HDB owner, you are only eligible to purchase your second property if you have fulfilled your MOP requirements. If you are SC owner, you will be liable for 7% ABSD. You are also allowed to rent out your HDB unit, But if you are PR, you are required to sell away your HDB unit within 6 months from key collection date. The ABSD payable is 5%.
