I m a Malaysia Indian holding to SINGAPORE PR, my wife is also a Singapore PR, had been residing in Singapore for the past 10 years, planning to get a HDB, total in CPF Ordinary account is S$55000, Total cash in my hand is S$30000, need a advice on this matter?

Afternoon,

Being PR, you are eligible to purchaes HDB resale unit using Bank loan. With 80% LTV, you need to pay 5% with Cash, excluding COV and 15% with Cash / CPF / Cash + CPF.
For your particular case, you have around $75k, after putting aside $10k for legal and stamp fee, hence you are eligible to purchase unit of around $380k. However, this would exclude the COV component.
You might want to work on your financial before you commit on buying.
