Unfortunately 2 weeks is not feasible. HDB's resale approval process has a minimum statutory timeline that cannot be shortened regardless of circumstances.
Here is the actual timeline:
Step 1 — HDB Resale Portal Submission:
Both buyer and seller must submit their respective portions of the resale application online — this must be done within 7 days of each other
Step 2 — HDB Acknowledgement:
HDB typically acknowledges the complete submission within 1 to 2 business days
Step 3 — Processing and Approval:
HDB currently takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks from submission to grant approval — this is the realistic window under normal circumstances
Step 4 — Completion Appointment:
After approval, HDB schedules the final completion appointment which typically falls 1 to 3 weeks after approval is granted
Realistic minimum total timeline:
From submission to key collection, the absolute fastest realistic timeline is approximately 6 to 8 weeks under ideal conditions — all documents complete, no CPF complications, no outstanding HDB loans or grants to resolve.
What can slow it down further:

Incomplete documentation
CPF withdrawal complications
Outstanding HDB mortgage redemption
Legal conveyancing delays
Buyer's bank loan processing

Bottom line:
Plan for 8 weeks as your working timeline and treat anything faster as a bonus — not a guarantee.

Usually it will take up to 4 weeks for resale application approval after HDB receives both parties' resale submission.

Do take note that 2nd party has up to 7 days to submit their portion from the 1st party's submission date and if there's any lack of documents required by HDB officer, the duration might prolong.

Care to share your concern(s) on the duration? If not you can call HDB officer to share your reason on why you need a quicker approval after submission.

Usually, the process takes around 3–4 weeks. You may follow up with the Housing & Development Board officer handling your case to request an earlier review, but approval timelines are still assessed on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed.
