we are direct buyers and have exercised OTP to purchase a HDB resale flat a month ago. seller did indicate an extension of stay prior to issuing OTP but have not discussed any terms. the seller agent just sent us the extension agreement that the seller has signed without discussing any of the terms with us before. we want to add a clause that holds the seller liable for damages and breakdowns during the extension stay but the agent claims that we have no basis to do so and we are unreasonable. in addition, they still have not found a new flat up to today and we are already halfway into the 60 calendar days timeline to submit the resale application. any advice on this matter please.
