Asked by
I have recently signed to purchase a resale flat. Currently waiting for my 1st appt with hdb. My agent is asking for his commission paid on the 1st appointment. Is this the normal industry practise? Pls advice. Thank you.

Hi, for normal industry practise, agents will receive their commission cheque on the 2nd appointment which we call it the completion day.

Dear Buyer,

Re: Today’s SG Professional Choice- SGAgent.com & SGRealtor.com

Congrat of your HDB purchase.

It will be fine as long your cheque is back dated at the 2nd appt. It common as the agent will not wanna to chase you for the cheq at your back whole day at the 2nd HDB appt.

Just put your side under the agent position that all:)
