I have been considering to invest into few condos in Singapore and the investment climate seems to be good. Now, starting from yesterday, Singapore skies are, AGAIN (I was here 1997 and 2003) full of smog, here called HAZE(from uncontrollable forest fires from Indonesia), for political reasons. This will be big time no-no to Western European/North American buyers like me as we are used to clear air. Can Singapore persuade its neighbours to handle this annual air pollution or not? If not I will step away from Singapore proprety market and go to Australia or New Zealand, where they still can manage and appretiate the nature. Please comment.

Why be concern about the haze since you're not going to stay here, I presume ;)

If you're looking at it as investment (rental yield and value appreciation), haze or no haze will not affect the proven demand and trend over the years. Thousands will still relocate here for reasons that make the haze problem insignificant.
