I have an 2BDR unit in CWT and am looking for rental opportunity.
What's the industry agent commission rate of letting the agent do the entire job versus myself providing a tenant and the agent doing the admin works and future follow-up?

Hi Mr Teo, the market practice will be for 2 years, the commission payable is 1 month of the rental rate plus gst. And for 1 year lease, the commission payable is half month of the rental rate plus gst.

    How about the rate if I find the tenant myself?

Hi Mr Teo,

The standard rate is -
2 years lease - 1 month rent + GST
1 year lease - 0.5 months rent + GST

What this means is that you are spared from the entire rent technicalities . From qualifying tenants to negotiating for the best rent and arranging everythig for rent required issues.
