I have a pte condo (1BR, loft unit) I bought 7 years ago, after marriage. Only under my name as I am SC. Everything has been paid up including loan and CPF. Only left paying property tax (me) and MCST (my husband since purchase).
As this was our first home, my husband has emotional attachment to it and doesn't want to sell. He has obtained his PR this year.
He is not willing to buy a new house too, due to all the hassles. Unless it is a HDB but due to me having a condo, we'll need 2 years for that plan.
There is another property nearby my child's school that I am very keen on. It has 2 bedrooms, which is appealing too. It is at least 200k more than my property's value.
Am I able to transfer this property to my husband and then purchase that. May succeed in letting go of this if he lives there some time.
