Good afternoon Kim Kit,

You are still eligible to purchase a resale HDB but you will have to dispose off your interest in your JB property within 6 months from completion date.

For instance, you can either sell it off or transfer the ownership to your parents.

If not, you should submit your appeal to HDB to hold on the property before you commit the purchase. A few of my malaysian SPRs had tried but failed. If you want to try, I can pass you the contact for the appeal as it is based on a case by case basis.
