1) Are you eligible under any scheme to purchase a resale HDB?
2) Have you find out how much loan can you obtain from HDB (HLE) and bank (IPA)?
3) Which location are you looking at?

If you are SC, single above 35 or married, or SPR, married to another SPR (both must be 3 years into SPR) or SC, you will be eligible for purchase of resale HDB unit. Depending on your income status, sizing and location of your upcoming unit, getting a 4 room flat might not be as tough as it might seems.
