Good morning!

Do take note that you have to be a SIngaporean and at least 35 years old to be eligible under Single Singaporean citizen scheme in order to purchase a resale HDB alone.

Are you?

Btw if you are targeting a resale HDB, I think currently is a good time to purchase as prices are stabilizing if not declined by abit and there are ample choices out in the market now.

It will be pretty hard for resale HDB market to crash as it's still public housing controlled by government.

Hope to hear from you soon so I can better advise you further.

Cheers!

Hi,

to qualify for Single Singapore Citizen Scheme for hdb resale purchase, you will need to be at least 35years old.

For the figures you are talking about, you can consider purchasing a bigger unit for your family to move in and rent out the existing one for their retirement income. May I know which estate you are looking at?

As for waiting for the market to bottom out, may I know how do you define that? A crash of 20-30% is unlikely as this is not the soft landing the authorities wish to engineer. Besides, median household incomes are trending upwards over the years.

May I understand your requirements before value-adding further? Thanks and hope to speak soon.

Warm regards,

Afternoon,

With the capital you have at hand, you can easily pay for 4 room flat without loan in most estate. But to wait it out for bottom pricing might be easier said than done. It would be good to source for something that you want and commit will the pricing is still good. Being SC, you will also be eligible for housing grant if your monthly income does not exceed $5k.

Do feel free to contact me to further discussion.
