Confirm that you have fulfilled the Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) for your existing flat (if you have one).
Search for Available Flats:
Browse the HDB resale portal or engage a property agent to help you find available 2-room flexi flats.
Consider factors such as location, lease remaining, and pricing.
Viewing and Selection:
Attend viewings to assess the condition of the flats.
Once you find a suitable unit, express your interest to the seller.
Option to Purchase (OTP):
Negotiate the price with the seller.
Sign the Option to Purchase (OTP) form and pay a deposit (usually 1% of the agreed price).
You have 21 days to exercise the OTP.
Resale Application:
Submit your resale application online via the HDB Resale Portal.
Pay the resale application fee.
Valuation and Loan Approval:
HDB will conduct a valuation of the flat.
Apply for a housing loan (if needed) from a bank or HDB.
Completion of Sale:
Once the valuation is approved and the loan is in place, proceed with the sale.
Pay the remaining downpayment (if any) and legal fees.
