I bought a resale flat before I married my husband in 2009. While he also has a small condo back then. We then bought another small condo together for investment to prepare for our children's education. Now that the kids are bigger, we need a bigger space. If we choose to get a 5 room resale flat, what are our options? Do we need to sell all 3 properties?

Dear madam, You are right that if you were to purchase a 5rm HDB, you will be required to dispose all other residential properties you have inclusive of your husband's properties. Perhaps you can consolidate your resources and financial profile, understand the present market value of your properties and we can discuss further how to make best use of your situation you have on hand to live more comfortably in a bigger unit.
