I bought a private studio in 2011. Presently I live with my parent in a hdb flat bought directly from hdb. Recently, my father had passed away and my mum intends to include myself as a co-lessee. Meanwhile, I am thinking to invest again in either a 2nd private property or a commercial property with cash on hand sgd 200k. If I bec a co- lessee of the hdb flat, what are the implication should I buy a 2nd private property / commercial property later on? Would private property make a better investment than commercial property or vice versa? Thank you.
