Dear Sir/Mdm,

Having bought a 2 room BTO flat, you have already considered to have purchased a subsidized flat and therefore as a 2nd timer, CPF housing grant is not applicable. You will be eligible for Proximity Housing Grant if you purchase a resale flat in the future that is within 4km from your parents.

congrats on your marriage!

Btw are you thinking to sell off both HDBs and buy a resale flat?

First both of your HDBs need to fulfill 5 years minimum occupation period unless you have special approval to sell.

Secondly for your next resale flat, your existing HDB is a BTO bought directly from HDB, you will considered a second timer thereafter. Unless your wife is first timer, you might get a half housing grant. No issue with proximity grant if both of you havent taken it before.

Congrats on your marriage. However having owned a 2 room BTO, you are considered having enjoy 1 grant before (bought subsidised flat) and no longer eligible for any grant except for PHG grant (near/stay with parents grant near pared $20k/stay with parents $30k). However if your wife have not bought any subsidized flat (her current flat is not BTO or resale bought with CPF grants) you might be eligible for a further half housing grant. Hi,

1) Congrats on your marriage!
2) There is only EHG for BTO flat. No other grants are available, thus if you hold on to your flat. You are not entitled to any top-up grant as well as your wife.
3) If you sell your flat away and shift into your wife's flat (I assume this is a resale flat).
4) You may apply for a top-up grant of $25k. Note that this grant is only valid for 6 months from your marriage registration date.

5) However, looking at your situation, your flat MOP is in 2023. By the time you meet your MOP and shift in with your wife, you had way past the validity for the top-up grant.
6) If you intend to sell your flat earlier in order to be eligible for the top-up grant. I suggest you write in your situation to the HDB and request for early sale before MOP.
