I applied under the Singles Scheme for BTO and already secured the unit so I am waiting to receive my flat keys within the next couple of years. If I were to get married before receiving the keys am I still eligible to own this 99-year 2-room unit that I purchased as a single?

Hi,

1) Although you had applied under the Single Citizen Scheme for this 2-rm flat.
2) After married, if your spouse is a foreigner. You will be under the Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme to qualify for this 2-rm flat if you are 35 yrs old or older, which is the same as the Single-Citizen Scheme.
3) If your spouse is an SPR or SC, you will be qualified under the Public Scheme.
4) Therefore I don't think it will affect your eligibility to keep the flat when the flat is ready for key collection.
