Good afternoon Thavamani,

Do you meant that both of you are SPR?

Both of you are eligible to buy resale HDB if both of you are SPR for at least 3 years. But do take note you have to dispose off your overseas property within 6 months from resale HDB purchase completion date.

There will not be such requirement if both of you choose to buy a private property. You can continue to hold on to your overseas property.

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry.

May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

Dear Thavamani,
You can buy any private properties in Singapore. The mount of ABSD that you would need to pay would depend on your citizenship status. So, please contact me to clarify that and to receive more relevant advice.
