Hi Ms Chua, pls note that you can't buy a resale hdb if you are buying as a single PR. To be eligible, you have to purchase it together with your fiancé or spouse and both have to be PR for at least 3 years. And yes, for budget of less than 400k, it is more than sufficient for a 3 room flat unit. Lastly, for resale hdb, applicant has to disposed off their overseas property within 6 months upon collecting their keys.

Good evening TF,

Do take note that you have to purchase a resale HDB with a Singaporean or SPR under public scheme and if both purchasers are SPRs, two of you must fulfil SPR for 3 years respectively.

And you have to dispose off your overseas residential property within 6 months from completion. If you want to hold on it, I will advise you to appeal first before committing to a purchase.

If you are not eligible under public scheme or doesn't want to dispose off your overseas property, probably you have to consider to purchase a private property instead.
