Hi, in today's context, it would be better to sell first and upgrade after that. As you are only given 6 months time to sell away your existing EA upon collecting key for your jumbo flat unit. Morning, To purchase a Jumbo first befor selling your EA is possible however it is also dependent your unit's location, condition, ethnic restriction and asking price. I would believe your seller would not wait forever till you get a suitable buyer.
