As this will consider your 2nd property (under your name), so a 7% ABSD will apply...

Good afternoon Maggie,

As long as you have fulfilled the applicable minimum occupation period for your HDB, you as a SC can hold on to your HDB and purchase a private property under your name but do take note that you will be subject to 7% additional buyer's stamp duty as a SC.
