I am PR holder planning to 5 room in jurong area my friend suggest me to buy in bukit panjang area pls reply which area is better for furure resale value give me suggestion i am confusing stage

Hi,
I would think both area have potential.
Jurong - future jurong lake development.
BB - future mrt/ downtown line.
It really depends which area you are more comfortable with.

Hi Indu,
Jurong and Bukit Panjang is not too far away from each other. Perhaps you may wish to check with your friend on the reason behind for saying Bukit Panjang is better.
Look at the whole picture, when you buy a HDB, it should first be suitable to you in terms of location and budget. HDB, being public housing, is not exactly for investment purpose, therefore appreciation of the units over time is pretty consistent over the different areas.
