Hi,

1) PR can only buy under PR family if there are no Singapore Citizen (SC) in the application.
2) There must be at least 2 PR that form a family.
3) Under the HDB definition of family, it could be:
(a) Married couple
(b) Parent(s) + Child(ren)
4) If there is a SC in the application, the PR need not wait for the full 3 yrs requirement.

Congrats on your PR, propose to keep saving up for the downment required for the purchase. For private property, able to proceed anytime. For HDB both you and your spouse require both PR for past 3 years.

Yes upon 3 years SPR status you can purchase resale HDB with your SPR spouse. Both must hold SPR status for at least 3 years. Single SPR cannot purchase hdb.
