Yes to legally own a property, one must be 21 years old. Alternatively you may want to consider to set up a trust where she can take over the property ownership when she reaches 21 years.

Hi Mr Shah,

You can explore purchasing the property under a trust. In this manner, she will not be required to meet the minimum age of 21 to own a property. The property can subsequently be transferred to her once she is of a legal age of 21. You WILL NOT need to pay an Additional Buyer Stamp Duty as well.
