I am looking to buy a studio/1-bedroom/2-bedroom, freehold(or 999-year leasehold), convenient location (close to mrt and preferably near town). Budget is $600,000.

If you still can stretch a bit more, you can go for The Verve (Freehold) - near Toa Payoh MRT, within Novena Medical Hub, so potential good rental yield. Also near to town.
