Morning,

As per CEA ruling, the seller agent is not allowed to receive payment from you as that would equate to dual representation. I would advice that either you engage an agent to represent you for the hunt of the unit or pay an agent a token to assist you accordingly on the required paperwork.

Dear TY,

You do not need to pay any service fees, however, be prepared to do up all the paperwork for the transaction on your own. As a DIY buyer, it is advisable to attend the HDB workshop or seminar if any that teaches buyers like yourself on how to go about carrying out the transaction.
