Dear buyer,

I supposed incentivizing your appointed salesperson to hunt down an ideal home for you may work wonders as the morale of the salesperson will be higher than having to ask the listing salesperson to share commission, where even the listing salesperson maybe less motivated to push for closing since commissions have to be shared. It could even save you more in terms of purchase price by giving a couple of grands as service fees to your appointed salesperson while saving tens of grands in the purchase price. That said, I believe and as witnessed by replies by my fellow professionals, most transactions we see will usually see listing and purchasing salesperson sharing commission.
