I am going through a divorce. Plan to purchase a resale HDB after selling my existing BTO HDB. I have the Interim Judgement, the Final Judgement will only be ready in March. Can I apply for HFE now? Or do I need to wait for the Final Judgement before I can apply for HFE?

Personally, I am of the opinion that it is better to apply for HFE when you have the final judgement. Has your BTO met the MOP already?

Sorry to hear about the news, I hope you are managing well. Has your MOP of 5 years been fulfilled? Also the children will be under your care and custody after the final judgement is out? Because these will affect your HFE application and your eligibility to purchase resale HDB.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Hope all's well for you.

If you're going through a divorce, it is better to wait until Final Judgement before you apply for the HFE. The HFE will be based on your sole ownership after your divorce.

Also, not sure if you need the sale proceeds from your current flat for your next purchase. If so, you will need to plan the timeline as such that the sale comes before your purchase.
