After signing the OTP, for the sales of your HDB unit, it will take 3 months or so, prior to completion. During these process, you can purchase the condo and let both process move concurrently.
You will have some time gaps between the sales and purchase, of about 2 to 3 weeks, if no renovation is required. However, if the unit that you are purchasing is vacant, you can talk to the seller to allow "Tentancy at Will" for certain amount of time.
As for the budget you have set aside, it would be good for 2 bedroom units and maybe 3 bedroom units, in certain area and projects.
