I am currently an owner of HDB flat purchased from the HDB (resale flat) and still under the MOP. I would like to know if I want to apply for the BTO or DBSS flat then do I need to complete the MOP period and then apply?

As I understand it take 2yrs for BTO to complete. So by the time of taking possession, I would have completed the MOP (if I apply during the 3rd or the 4th year of current flat ownership).

Hi,

Unfortunately you are not eligible and can't apply for BTO or DBSS or any other property when you are still in your MOP period. It does not matter if they are still in construction, the individual has to complete MOP first. Thanks and hope it clarifies.
