I am an ex bankrupt. recently I was discharged in 2018 December. I have applied for bank Loans but rejected by banks. Only 1 financial situation agree to give me a loan. My question is : Can I appeal to pay the 5% cash downpayment in CPF instead? I do not have that much cash to put down the 5% deposit in cash.

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, yes you are right. I do have a case like yours and my buyer managed to get a loan from Singapura Finance at 75% of the purchase price.

For purchases under bank loan, be it HDB or private, there will be a mandatory 5% CASH downpayment. The balance 0% downpayment can be in form of CPF.
