Good morning buyer,

You are eligible to purchase a resale Hdb just that you will have to dispose off your private property within 6 months from purchase completion and you might be subject to seller's seller duty for disposal of the private property if the holding period is within 4 years.

If you are considering new BTO, you will have to dispose off your private property and observe a waiting period of 30 months before you are eligible to apply.

Hi,

It will not prevent you from getting the resale HDB, just that you will need to sell away your condo within 6 months after you collect the keys to your resale HDB unit. May I understand your requirements and assist further? Thanks and hope to hear from you.

Afternoon,

Both of you will be eligible to purchase HDB resale unit under non-citizen spouse scheme. However, you will be required to remove all private property ownership within 6 months from key collection. Therefore, if you are planning to get a HDB unit soon, I would advice you to hold that thought.

Hi Sir/Mdm,

Under the current ruling, you will need to dispose off your current condo unit within 6 months if you were to purchase a resale HDB flat.

May I know when was the purchase date of the condo? You may be subjected to Seller's Stamp Duty if you dispose it within 4 years and therefore it may not be advisable to purchase a HDB.
