Hi, I would be most glad to assist you further and pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Hope to hear from you soon and have a great week ahead. By the way, yes you would need to dispose off or to transfer any foreign property if you are planning to purchase a HDB flat.

Hi,

Congratulations on attaining your Citizenship!

If you were to purchase a HDB flat, you will be required to dispose off all residential properties (local and overseas) latest within 6 months upon the purchase.

If your property in Malaysia is a residential property, and if it's family stay, then you might wish to write in to appeal to HDB for you to keep the property. If the property was bought for investment purpose, likelihood HDB will ask you to dispose it off.

Should you wish to still keep hold of the Malaysia property, you may wish to consider to purchase a private condo instead. Private properties does not have these restrictions, and you will be free to keep your Malaysia property.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi

The generally policy for owning a HDB resale flat is to dispose of all properties own locally or overseas. You may however appeal to HDB who will decide on a case to case basis if you have a valid reason.

You may text 9620 0827  for a casual chat.
