Regrettably, you are not eligible for a new EC as you need to dispose of your private property 30 months before buying a new EC.

You can buy resale EC on the open market that have meet the 5 year MOP. However, as this is your 2nd property, you are liable for 7% ABSD, on top of the usual BSD.

Hi,

If you are purchasing new EC, you have to wait out a 30 month period after selling your private property before you can do so. There's quite a number of resale ECs available, but it may also be selling close to other private condo prices. May I know what are your objectives in doing so? As you're holding onto a private property, you are unable to buy a new EC now. To buy a new EC, you would've had to have disposed of your private property for 30 months.

Alternatively, you may purchase a resale EC which is 5 years or older. I'll be able to send you a list of the available resale ECs on the market.
