Hi,

For new ECs application, you have to wait out a 30month period after disposal of overseas properties before you are eligible to purchase. Further, you have to form a family nucleus to apply.

If you are talking about resale ECs, there is no such issue. You can purchase as per a Resale Private Condo purchase. Thanks and may I understand which location are you considering? Hope to have the opportunity to discuss further.

As you currently owns a residential property overseas, you have to sell it off and observe a 30 months waiting period before you can apply for a new EC.

But nevertheless there's no restriction if you are purchasing a resale EC.
