i am a singapore PR 36 years old. I have applied as singapore citizen online 1 week ago. I intend to get a 3 rooms hdp flat. am i eligible for a new one or i have to get a resale flat? my income is 4200 per month. i have been contributing cpf for the last 4.5 years. Please advise how much down payment i have to pay. Am i eligible for HDB loan. Thank you.

Morning Lee,

Only SC are eligible for purchase of resale HDB unit, under single scheme, as per this moment. Once you have attain your citizenship, you can purchase resale unit, using HDB loan, if your income does not exceed $5k. Using HDB loan, you are only required to place downpayment of 10%. You will also be eligible for single housing grant.
