I am a PR for 2.5 years and planning to purchase a HDB in Singapore. However, I have an ongoing business with several partners in Malaysia which in turn own an industrial lot. Would I still be entitiled to purchase the HDB here? I do not personally own any properties in Malaysia.

You need to be SPR for more than 3 years and be married to another SPR or SC to be eligible to purchase HDB unit. If you are looking at getting it under sole ownership, you will have to look at private property.
