I am a PR and my wife a Singapore citizen (SC) We are buying a 2m landed property, The SC is not earning income as she is a housewife This is our first Singapore property, we do not own any foreign property. With all these changes recently, what is the current ABSD rate, also is there any opportunity for remission on stamp duty for landed purchases?

Hi Stephen,

You don't have to pay ABSD for your first property in Singapore. However, you have to get LDAU approval before buying landed property. The link is as follow:

Please feel free to contact me if you have further queries.
