Good afternoon SPR,

A Happy Chinese New Year to you!

Btw is your spouse a Singaporean Citizen? If both of you are SPRs, you have to dispose off your HDB within 6 months from private purchase completion.

For private purchase procedure:
1) 1% option money then exercise with 4% and valid LO within 2 weeks option money.
2) pay stamp duties within 2 weeks from exercise date
3) pay 15% CPF downpayment 2 weeks before completion date.

If you are keen, I can forward you a flowchart of a typical private purchase and I will advise you with a financial plan too. I will also ask my banker to advise you on your in pricinple approval and loan packages so you can have a better idea how much loan can you obtain.

Hope to hear from you soon!
