    Hi, thanks for your fast response. I am married but my wife is not local nor having Singapore PR.

    As far as I know to purchase a reseller HDB, it need at least a family with wife and husband to be PR.
    I would like to confirm whether I can purchase the condo by using only a single Singapore PR?

Yes of course! As a PR, you are free to buy any private condos in Singapore without restriction.

Take note, you will need to put up a minimum 20% downpayment, with a maximum of up to 80% loan.

Also take note of the relevant fees involved:
- Buyer Stamp Duty (est. 3%)
- Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (5%)
- Legal Fees (est $2500)

There is no restriction for PR or foreigner to purchase private condo. The only different is ABSD. For PR, the ABSD is 5% where foreigner is 15%.

Yes you are absolutely right that you are not eligible for resale HDB purchase because your spouse is a foreigner.

But not to worry, you are eligible to purchase private property (either resale or new launch) as a single SPR.

By the way do take note that you will be subject to 5% ABSD for this purchase as SPR and have you speak to any banker? May I know how much is your in principal approval please?
