I am a foreigner and understand that I cannot purchase landed property in Singapore. How about cluster housing? I am looking for units in the east and came across Kew Green which an agent told me I can buy. How do I check which project I am eligible for? I also understand there is a similar project called D'Manor. Am I eligible for this and where can I find out for such projects. Appreciate your kind reply.

Due to Singapore's rules and regulations you are not eligible to buy a cluster housing.

Condominium will be your choice actually. =)

Dear Sir/Mdm,

You are right, foreigner are not eligible to buy landed properties in Singapore, and strata-titled cluster housing as well. Therefore, I am afraid that you are not eligible to buy Kew Green or D’Manor.

However, they are a few big projects in the East, such as Eco which consist of mixture of different housing, cluster housing is among them and foreigners are eligible to buy without LDU approval.

Sorry to contradict some of the above replies, but YES Kew Green is one of the few cluster houses PRs and foreigners can buy. I have sold units to such buyers within the past year. Please feel free to call me and I'll show you the reason. I also have a similar penthouse (freehold condo) in the adjacent road in which you may be interested at $2.5M for 3,120sqft.
