I am 32 years old earning 4.5k and have around 100k in my CPF. I am married to a foreigner who has yet to find a job in SG. Am I eligible for a HDB and what is my estimated loan I can get? I want to know the type of houses/price I should be looking for

As a Singaporean aged 32 with a foreign spouse holding a Dependent Pass with more than six months' validity, you are eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat. You may also qualify for various financial assistance programs, such as the CPF Housing Grant, Enhanced Housing Grant, and Proximity Housing Grant, provided you meet the respective requirements.

With a solid credit history, it is estimated that you could secure a mortgage loan of approximately $300,000.

Hi,

1) Your spouse must be holding one of the following since you are below 35 yrs old:
(a) LTVP (Long Term Visit Pass)
(b) Work pass
both must be at least 6 months from the date of issue at the point of yuor HFE application.

2) You are eligible for a resale HDB flat only with conditions that you have a valid legal marriage cert and your spouse has the valid document as stated in (1).

3) Your home loan basaed on your age and income is around $255k.
4) You are eligible to single grant ($40K) for a 4-rm and smaller flat & PHG ($10k) only.
5) You are encourage to apply for an HFE (https://homes.hdb.gov.sg/home/landing) to find out the exact amount of loan and grants available before further exploring on the types of flat and location.

If your spouse is holding onto a long term visit pass here in Singapore, you will be eligible to purchase HDB under non-citizen spouse scheme. You can actually submit for HFE application to determine your loan and any grants for your purchase to understand better and work out your numbers on the purchase.

• Also, check that the remaining lease covers you comfortably past age 95, as that affects loan eligibility.
