How much is an agent entitled to know about my apartment purchase? Is he/she supposed to know every step of the apartment purchase right till the end? Is he/she also supposed to provide assistance with finding contractors for me if I wish to make modifications to the new apartment once I get it? It's my first time but I felt it was a bit too much when the agent told me that he will find this and that contractor for me. It's almost as if he wants to do up my entire home for me. I thought I would be the one deciding how my home is going to be like? I'm very confused. Is he trying to make me pay more for his service or something? Please advise. Thank you.
