Hi,

1) There are too much tiny things to note when buying a home. It is quite difficult to provide all the guides you need.
2) Most agents learnt through their work in order to provide a professional service serving their clients.
3) Even though we went through a 2 weeks full time thorough paper training, it does not prepare us to completely to handle a real transaction.
4) If you think you can handle by yourself, the first thing you should do is to get an approved HFE before starting your viewing journey.
5) Do a desktop search and source for the right flat according to your liking. Find out the market price of that flat, and negotiate the deal.
6) The sellers' agent will provide an OTP issued by the seller.
7) You have to read the instructions provided by the HDB and follow step-by-step to complete the transaction accordingly.
8) Otherwise, you have to get a housing agent to assist in your purchase to avoid getting entangle in a wrong deal.

All The Best!!!
