Hi,

1) Removing one of owners' or essential occupier's names from the HDB flat under marriage status is prohibited by the HDB.
2) The HDB has put this to a stop in May 2016.
3) If you plan to upgrade or change of environment you may apply the BTO with your son upon MOP of your current flat. You will have to sell your current flat within 6 months upon key collection of the BTO.

Hope the above answer your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
