But very old and need major renovation done. We can pay for it without loan or grant, however would like to know if it is worth $500K and can be easily sold after 5 years?

Hi,

May I know which blk are you referring to? If the flat has balance lease 60 years and below, the buyer cannot utilize his cpf and loan fully to purchase your unit, which means more cash top up is required, which in turn means the chances they can offer a higher price for your unit is reduced. You may want to factor this into your decision. Thanks and hope to assist with your housing plans further.

Afternoon,

Technically, there are only 3 to 4 blocks of flat under the address of Holland Ave. They were built in 1974 to 1975 with current lease of less than 60 years. Your future prospective buyers will have issues using full CPF for their purchase. Valuation for your unit might not be as attractive due to the age too. Do work your financial out with your salesperson and work based on your short and mid terms goal.
